I think it’s a riot how journalists bend over backwards to find and write stories about ‘online dating’, most of which are really not news. As a result I am going to start sharing just how random and useless the majority of these online dating ‘news stories’ are by posting my weekly favorite useless online dating articles.

I’m also thinking this might be a regular column for the future. Just in case we’ll call this first column post ‘ZOO‘. Enjoy

Thank you Lindsay Toler for the creative headline on a widely read blog. Okay so maybe it is interesting, but not so much the story as the chart inside the story. While I do find the map interesting zoo and sex stories, aren’t good bed fellows so we’ve repackaged it for you with the source of the image.  Either way, congrats on making it to the top of Google Internet dating news, without having shared much of anything except someone else’s chart.

In case I move to Texas I will make sure to douse my dating profile with at least 10 occurrences of the word, ‘Oil’. On the other hand Alaska sounds like a fun place to online date!
